Cinda Williams Chima worked selling and proofreading ads for the Akron Beacon Journal and as a freelance journalist for the Cleveland Plain Dealer. She turned to writing full-time in 2009 and is currently at work on her third series of young adult fantasty novels. Born in Springfield, Ohio, Cinda is a graduate of the University of Akron and currently lives in Chagrin Falls.
