Young readers help characters explore the world—from embarking on a jungle safari through touch-and-feel fabric leaves to riding a tandem bike through Paris—just by wiggling their fingers! Then, with two sets of hands, children assist these explorers as they head off on their next adventure in the gatefold finale. Active and adorable characters model both independence and teamwork, making this innovative board book perfect for interactive reading and playtime fun! (Ages 0-3)
I CAN DREAM (2018): Dream big! Young readers help characters pursue their aspirations—from driving a race car to traveling to Mars—just by wiggling their fingers! But wait! There’s even more fun. In an impressive gatefold finale, kids help a firefighter, astronaut, artist, and more come together to follow their dreams. With interactive holes on every page and a satisfyingly funny touch-and-feel cover, this charming board book offers a uniquely entertaining way to play and read together. (Ages 0-3)
IT’S A FIREFLY NIGHT (2018): A little girl engages in a favorite childhood activity—catching fireflies—then lets them go one by one. This serves to engage the reader in counting up and then down from 10. Song-like rhyme pairs with glowing art to capture the magic of a firefly-lit summer night. Featuring a plethora of interesting firefly facts and new activities. (Ages 4-8)
HAIKU NIGHT (2017): Just as she did in “Haiku Baby,” Betsy celebrates special moments in nature with the traditional Japanese poetic form. The sights and sounds of night—a firefly, a star, a cricket, a bat, a raccoon, and an owl—are joyfully captured in just 17 syllables each. This peaceful little board book has tabs to encourage little hands to turn the pages, and adorable artwork to delight children and parents alike! Betsy Snyder’s distinguished books for toddlers and babies have received numerous awards and accolades, and are adored by parents everywhere. (Ages 0-3)
