In addition to the organization’s Literacy Awards for special Ohio reading projects, Buckeye Book Fair facilitates book donations to other nonprofits.
These nonprofit organizations are currently seeking and accepting donations of books. Please donate your used books to one of these great causes!
AAUW / Kiwanis of Wooster

The mission: Books are sold at a 3-day used book sale fundraiser for the organizations’ college scholarship awards every September. Since its inception, book sale profits have allowed the local AAUW club to fund scholarships for women whose education has been interrupted and the Kiwanis club to fund scholarships for deserving high school graduates as well as the construction and installation of children’s playground equipment.
Books wanted: All kinds of books, gently used please.
Books NOT accepted: No Reader’s Digest condensed books, magazines, or encyclopedias.
To donate: Drop off at their warehouse 214 N Bever St. Wooster, Ohio 44691 10-noon on Saturdays.

Kids Book Bank Cleveland

The mission: The Kids Book Bank Cleveland’s mission is to foster literacy and a love of reading by distributing free books to children in need. 2 out of 3 low-income kids don’t own a single book. The Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank is changing that. Books change lives.
Books wanted: Gently used or new children’s books.
Books NOT accepted: books published before 2000, anything other than children’s books.
To donate: Drop off at their MidTown Cleveland Warehouse (3635 Perkins Ave, Ste 1E, Cleveland, see website for directions) 9-2 Tues to Fri. Cleveland elementary schools have outdoor drop-off bins.
