These awards honor exceptional student writers from across the state—creative, courageous voices who are just beginning to shape the world through their words.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of Shannon’s or just discovering her work, this is your chance to hear behind-the-scenes stories, ask questions, and experience the joy of storytelling as a community. Proceeds benefit the Buckeye Book Fair’s Young Authors Initiative, which fosters literacy and creativity in classrooms and communities throughout Ohio.

The Wayne County Public Library has free tickets to library patrons for the community presentation on a first come, first served basis.
