Kim, Thanks for sending this first of the year newsletter. Sounds like an exciting year ahead! May I inquire as to when applications for the 2025 Book Fair open? I hope I haven’t missed it as my newest novel just released yesterday! Thank you. Jan

Hi Jan, Submissions are open through the July 1st deadline. ~K
Kimberly,
Thank you very much for sending me the email about this year’s book fair. I am currently writing my fourth book title, “My Wife Has a Husband Just Like That”. It is a humorous book about marriage. The book will be finished and sent to you before the deadline, July 1st.
I have a question about the part of the submission rules:
Publication Date: The book is published after August 1, 2024, and will be available to sell by November 1, 2025.
Does that mean that all authors potentially will only have one book available at the book fair? It appears to me from reading the criteria is that my three other books will not be at the event because they were published before August 1, 2024.
Thank you,
Don Ruff
Following an invitation from the Selection Committee, authors/illustrators may submit a list of up to three backlist titles for potential inclusion in the Buckeye Book Fair. The Buckeye Book Fair reserves the right to select titles from this list based on anticipated guest interest and overall fair inventory needs. Please visit the 2025 Buckeye Book Fair on Saturday, November 1st, 2025 to see what it’s like.
I Have sent my latest book, “My wife Has a Husband Just Like That”. This is my fourth book. Hopefully you have received the book in good condition. I am anxious to hear that I am invited to this year’s Buckeye book Fair.
Thank you,
Don Ruff
