The Buckeye Book Fair
We are excited to welcome you to Greystone Event Center and the Buckeye Book Fair! To ensure you have a smooth and enjoyable experience, please review the following important information.
1. Event Details:
- Date: Saturday, November 1, 2025
- Time: The Buckeye Book Fair opens to the public at 9:30 am and closes at 4:00 pm. There are sensory-friendly hours from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. There will be one room with author presentations and panel discussions throughout the event.
- Location: 50 Riffel Road, Wooster, OH 44691
- Virtual Access : We would love to offer virtual presentations in the future, as we know how meaningful it can be to connect with authors from anywhere. At this time, we haven’t yet been able to put those pieces in place, but it’s something we continue to keep in mind as we grow.
2. What to Bring/Prepare:
- Comfortable shoes, a signing pen, curiosity, and a love of stories.
3. Travel & Logistics:

There is a large parking lot at Greystone Event Center with a drop-off area for accessibility.
Wooster, Ohio has public transportation through a new service called WayGo.

4. Important Information
- Suggested Donation: A long-standing tradition at the Buckeye Book Fair is a small cash donation at the door, which helps our charity continue offering programs that inspire readers and support literacy across Ohio.
- Schedule Highlights: There will be several presentations and panels at the Buckeye Book Fair. When you arrive at Greystone Event Center, you’ll find the presentation room to the left side of the lobby as you head in. There will be a poster with additional information.
- Safety & Security: Your safety and comfort are very important to us at the Buckeye Book Fair. We’ve taken steps to make the event welcoming and secure, with clear signage, wide aisles, and helpful volunteers to guide you. Friendly staff will be on site so you can simply enjoy your day. If you ever need assistance, whether it’s finding an author, carrying books, or just a quiet spot to rest, please let a volunteer know. We’re here to make your experience safe, smooth, and memorable.
- Accessibility Information: At the Buckeye Book Fair, we are committed to making the event welcoming and accessible for everyone. Please don’t hesitate to ask, we want every guest to feel comfortable, supported, and able to enjoy all that the Fair has to offer.

6. Additional Tips:
- Water and snacks will be available for purchase.
- Pre-Order & Save: BuckeyeBookFair.org. Educators and Librarians can submit Purchase Orders by 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 29th to our email, Info@BuckeyeBookFair.org, and your books, with a 20% discount, will be ready for easy pickup at the fair.
- The best way to stay updated on all event news is to visit BuckeyeBookFair.org.
- Enjoy the convenience of a single checkout that accepts Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. This year we are planning to accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
- Please note that outside books are not permitted.
- There are a lot of GIVEAWAYS at the Buckeye Book Fair! Be sure to sign up online and stop by the information table in the lobby to sign up.
