This approach shifts the focus away from “donating” and toward joining a community of supporters, which tends to encourage higher participation and recurring gifts. It also avoids making the page feel transactional by emphasizing the mission and impact first.
This informal membership program is to recognized and reward donors for their ongoing support. This program is not intended to grant donors voting or other governance obligations, and privileges attributed to “membership” as defined and used under Ohio Revised Chapter 1702.
