An educator from Apple Creek Elementary came to my table with a friendly, bright smile, showed me where she had highlighted my name and book in the event’s program, and had stated, ‘You are one of my top authors I wanted to meet you and support you today!’ The following Monday, I received an email from the educator requesting a school visit. Behind the Scenes at the Buckeye Book Fair: Meet Eva Bauman
Our first featured intern is Eva Bauman, a junior majoring in economics from Tacoma, Washington. Beyond her academic pursuits, Eva is an active competitor on Wooster’s cross country and track teams. Her commitment to excellence extends beyond the classroom and the track; she has previously volunteered in the Wooster community and is now excited to engage closely with a local nonprofit.
