Buckeye Book Fort Contest Rules:

Here are a few rules for the Buckeye Book Fort Contest:

1. Eligibility: The contest is open to all Ohio residents, regardless of age. Individual and group entries are welcome.
2. Fort Construction: Build your blanket fort using any combination of blankets, pillows, and other household items. The fort should be designed as a cozy reading nook.
3. Book Inclusion: Your blanket fort photo must include at least one visible book, preferably from your personal library or a book you’re currently reading.
4. Photo Submission: Take a clear, well-lit photo of your completed blanket fort. Upload the photo to social media, tagging @BuckeyeBookFair and using the hashtag #BuckeyeBookFort and #BuckeyeBookFair.
5. Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted by Friday, November 1st, 2024 at 5:00pm. Late submissions will not be considered.
6. Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, how well the fort captures the spirit of reading and coziness, and of course, “likes” and “shares”.
7. Prizes: The most creative and inspiring forts will be selected to win prizes. Area businesses area awarding gift cards and we’ll award a bag of books at the 2024 Buckeye Book Fair. Winners will be notified via direct message on social media the morning of the Buckeye Book Fair, Saturday, November 2nd, 2024.
8. Multiple Entries: Participants may submit multiple entries, but each entry must feature a different blanket fort design and different books.
9. Permissions: By submitting a photo, you grant the Buckeye Book Fair permission to share your entry on our website, social media, and other promotional materials.
10. Good Sportsmanship: Please keep the contest fun and positive. Offensive or inappropriate content will result in disqualification.
