Get ready for a book lover’s dream: the Buckeye Book Crawl, a week-long literary celebration leading up to the 37th annual Buckeye Book Fair!

In partnership with the Wayne County Public Library, this year’s crawl brings together renowned authors, captivating stories, and vibrant venues across Wayne County, Ohio. Whether you’re into cozy fantasy, historical biographies, sports, or mysteries, there’s something for everyone.

  • Monday, October 21 at 6 PM: Start your journey at Books In Stock with debut author Fern Haught. Their YA graphic novel, The Baker and the Bard, invites readers on a warm adventure with Juniper and Hadley, two friends navigating a quest filled with heart and charm. This is a great chance to meet the author and get your copy signed! Location: 140 E Liberty St, Wooster, OH 44691.
  • Join us on Thursday, October 24 at 6:30pm at the Wayne County Public Library Wooster Branch for a special event as part of the Buckeye Book Crawl! Award-winning author Mindy McGinnis will discuss her latest young adult psychological mystery, where a teen girl, grieving her brother’s death, starts a new job in Ohio’s caverns and quickly finds herself the prime suspect in a coworker’s murder.   • Saturday, October 26 at 11 AM: Head to the WCPL Wooster Branch for a historical deep dive with local author Dr. Jason Edwin Anderson. Finally, the Buckeye Book Crawl culminates in the 37th Annual Buckeye Book Fair on Saturday, November 2 at the Greystone Event Center. From 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, enjoy a day of author signings, literary discussions, and the company of book lovers from all over.
