A theme that resonates throughout all of his books is “don’t be a jerk!” Most of the victims, as well as the killers, in Erickson’s stories often treat people badly.

In addition to running the fledgling business and working through her own life challenges, now she is compelled to find the murderer. Why, her brother is the prime suspect.
