📚 May Book Bits: Newsletter!

Dear Readers,

Welcome to Book Bits – Your Inside Look at Ohio’s Literary Scene!

Spring is in full bloom, and so is our excitement at the Buckeye Book Fair! In this edition of Book Bits, we’re spotlighting the magic that happens when stories and readers come together.

Meet Hal Sundt, a nonfiction author whose sharp, deeply human storytelling makes the ordinary extraordinary. Discover David Rickert, a Columbus-based educator and illustrator whose graphic novels sneak science and history into kids’ hearts—one laugh at a time. And step into the shadowy world of John Kachuba, whose latest novel The Bottle Conjuror blurs the lines between history and the paranormal.

🎒 Buckeye Book Camp registration is now open! Designed for young writers and readers in grades 5–8, our camp helps spark creativity and build confidence through storytelling. Spots are limited—sign up soon!

💛 As we gear up for our 38th annual Book Fair this November, we invite you to support our Annual Campaign. Your donation helps us continue offering year-round programs, support local authors, and bring books into schools and communities across Ohio.

Thank you for being part of our story. Happy reading!
