Dear Book Bits Readers,

Welcoming Fall with New Books and Events!

As the leaves start to turn, we are gearing up for an exciting season of literary events, book signings, and contests. With the Buckeye Book Fair just around the corner, we’re thrilled to introduce you to three outstanding authors, spotlight a dedicated volunteer, and share exciting details about the Buckeye Book Crawl and our Buckeye Book Fort Contest.

Meet the Author: Interviews in this Edition

Don’t miss out on the exciting author and illustrator interviews in this edition! Dive into Just Do Nothing with Joanna Hardis and overcome self-sabotage finding personal growth. Celebrate Andrew Welsh-Huggins’ Andy Hayes Mystery series 10th anniversary with Sick to Death at Spoon Bar & Deli, where suspense meets great craft beer. Plus, for our youngest readers, Jashar Awan’s Towed by Toad will bring smiles and adventures for children and their adult readers!

Volunteer Spotlight: Deb Jenkins

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on Deb Jenkins, one of our incredible volunteers. Deb’s journey with us started last year through our partnership with D+S Distribution, where she took the initiative to write an insightful article about our collaboration. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and passion for storytelling made a lasting impression. Be sure to read the article on Deb’s hard work and perseverance. She’s the passion behind Book Bits: Newsletter!

Mark Your Calendars for the entire Buckeye Book Crawl!

Make sure to join us in downtown Wooster for the Buckeye Book Crawl. There are NINE stops on the crawl this year for you to enjoy and explore the wonderful world of books with us! It’s a chance to meet authors, enjoy local fare, and pick up some great reads on your way to the big day!

Calling All Fort Builders!

Don’t forget about our Buckeye Book Fort Contest! We’re inviting you to show off your fort-building skills using blankets and pillows for a chance to win a bag of books at this year’s fair. Check out the article on how to enter the contest below!

With so many events and exciting books this fall, we hope you’ll be a part of the fun! It’s a perfect time to leaf through a book!

  1. This sounds like a wonderful event. While I know it is too late for this year, I wondered how one goes about being part of the Book Crawl in the future. I am a children’s book author and would love to be a part of the festivities. Sincerely, Lauren Persons Website: laurenpersons.com
