Attendees browsed, connected, and celebrated local authors, and we are proud to share that over 3800 books 📚 found their new homes. 🏠

As the leaves start to turn, we are gearing up for an exciting season of literary events, book signings, and contests. With the Buckeye Book Fair just around the corner, we’re thrilled to introduce you to three outstanding authors, spotlight a dedicated volunteer, and share exciting details about the Buckeye Book Crawl and our Buckeye Book Fort Contest.
Volunteer Spotlight: Deb Jenkins
We’re excited to introduce Deb Jenkins, a new and incredibly dedicated volunteer with the Buckeye Book Fair. Deb’s connection with us actually began last year around this time when she introduced herself in our warehouse while working with D+S Distribution. For decades, D+S has been an essential partner to the fair, supporting our logistical needs by helping us receive, inventory, pack, and ship the 7,000 books we prepare each year. Without their fleet of trucks and consistent support, organizing the fair would be a much more challenging task.
